this is when we left the restaurant last night, they're standing in front of it.








this little cutie was running around with his mom and grandma in a store, and he had a hoodie on his jumper that had doggie ears and there was a tail on his bottom, it was sooo cute!!

this guy in the white shirt is andrew. he's poliet and gregarious. i'm kind of glad that i won't have to deal with him after tomorrow. he also has this terrible habit of scratching his nostrils and then sticking his finger in his mouth, which is quite gross. Definitely one of those fellows who likes to be an old fashioned "nice guy" but just comes off creepy. *shrug*

this is alex, he's been traveling with me since kc (as have the andrew, lisa, april, brian, and megan) he's the one that i went to the beer festa with lasat night.
and this girl with me is megan, my roommate for my stay in tokyo. she's really nice and dresses very 20's flapper all the time which is awesome, she also doesn't take her lipstick off very well, because it's all over her toothbrush and she gets it on the face towels. it's really more of an observed thing than a complaint. it's just interesting to see things that people do as normal that i never would.
ahh, the beer festival. alex and i hung out with the drummers, who wear these nifty costumes for it.

here's a big toast taken by this 16 year old guy who i kept prompting to use his english. most of the rest of them are college students.
