first day of school

ok, this was from the school assembly. quite a bit different from my childhood.
from riding around durning lunch yesterday, i had to stop and take a picture.
here's the teacher's office during a teacher's meeting. everyone just kind of sits there, and then they stand up in some order unknown to me and say a few things then sit down.
this is the shrine to the east of the school, it's in much better shape than the one to the west.
and here's the really nice tree at the back of the shrine. it gently leans away from the building... i wonder if they did that on purpose, or if it just grew like that.
