TRIP HOME! step one:
here's the train rolling down the tracks, signifying the first step of my 23 hr trip! (note the hand-made seat warmers on the bench; that's how small town my place is!)
on the bus to the airport (a three hour ride) this is the worlds largest suspension bridge! i get to see it everytime i go to the mainland. osaka! pure metropolis from kobe to kyoto, i'm glad that i don't live in the thick of this, but it's close enough to visit if i want to waste some money and kick it up a notch!
Wheatfields!!! i love their organic bread! and derek and i always come here for biscuits and gravy for breakfast when we're hungover. yummy! tuck! he's a cook now, classy!! my little sister is insane!! :) this is from christmas eve when we had a good time hanging out and drinking.
we're calling this one the "neck-beard" picture. derek got an electric razor for christmas, and he's been putting it to good use!
isn't mom the cutiest mom in the world? she's mine and only derek and i can have her!!hahaha!!! *evil scientist laugh*
family christmas pcture.
i think the look on grandma's face sums up the hectic life of a matriarch on the holidays, their work is never done! thanks, grandma, for a great christmas!
