Matsuyama: part one

the matsuyama castle area has a moat!
the moat is guarded on the surface by ferocious swans.
under the water, the koi fish take care of business; while the pidgeons take an air position.
here's the castle. it's on a good sized hill smack-dab in the middle of the valley that the city is in.
when travelling by yourself, it's important to find ways to take a picture of your self to prove that you were there. this is from the gardens the are at the bottom of the hill.
