flowers and ice

so here's my blooming cactus, and we also had a hail storm! some of the hail was fist sized! people's cars got dinged up pretty well, even some broken windows.

sure signs of spring

here is the tree again, the leaves are really coming in! i wish i had my digi camera last fall because the leaves turn scarlet red then fade to a royal purple! i kinda hope that i don't get a chance to take a pic of it this coming fall, because that will mean that i'm in japan!

and here's my freshly painted toes and my new sandals. (note the flowers on my big toes) i'm not a big shoe person, but these are really comfy sandals! i've spent the past three years in $3.50 flip flops from old navy. these are teva, so pinky toes out!

this is the tree i park in front of everyday at work, and it's starting to bud. hello spring!

i took mia and cybil to pick up mia's dad's corvetter, there was a dirty rain thurs night, as you can see, but the car is still totally badass .
here's baby avery from fri, she's sooooo cute! and this is the first time that she's worn shorts.

here's my dad's new camper, i think that he'll be quite comfy on his adventures.
